Read More About

Smashburger makes its South Florida debut on Friday, November 11.

The first location will open at 1840 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL and brings its signature smashed-to-order burgers, Häagen-Dazs® shakes, tempting sides and regional menu items crafted to please local’s palates.

Smashburger is renown for its localized offerings and Coral Springs will enjoy the first taste of the “A1A Burger” with 100-percent Certified Angus Beef burger, topped with grilled Spanish chorizo, Frita potatoes, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and a spicy Chipotle sauce on a Cuban Roll.

Beyond the “A1A Burger,” the market-specific menu includes vegetarian options like the “Spicy Baja Black Bean Burger” (pepper jack cheese, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, onion, spicy chipotle mayo, and fresh jalapenos on a spicy chipotle bun) and “Skinny Chicken,” 100-percent, all-white meat, grilled or crispy chicken sandwiches combined with artisan toppings such as goat cheese, spinach, avocado, mango, pineapple, or grilled onions.

In every Smashburger market, we explore what consumers enjoy eating and then bring those tastes and flavors to our menu in an innovative way,” says Tom Ryan, Founder and Chief Concept Officer of Smashburger.

Guests will be excited about the unique burger, chicken sandwiches, and salads we’ve created and we look forward to bringing these specialty items to South Florida.”

At Smashburger the secret is in the smash. They start with 100-percent fresh, never frozen, Certified Angus Beef and smash it on a 400 degree flat grill to sear in the juicy flavor.

To further the “better burger” experience, every Smashburger is served on a butter toasted artisan bun including multi-grain and a new option for the South Florida market, the Cuban roll.

Each Smashburger offers a selection of nine signature sauces including Frank’s Buffalo sauce and its signature Smash sauce, with a wide selection of premium add-ons including mango and papaya salsa, a fried egg, guacamole, and Spanish chorizo.

The “Fresh Market Salads” are filled with crisp produce and fresh ingredients perfect for pairing or creating a lighter fare menu. Rounding out the Smashburger menu is an assortment of tempting fries, sides, and premium Haagen-Dazs ® shakes and malts.

We are thrilled to bring our ‘better burgers’ to South Florida,” says David Prokupek, CEO & Chairman of Smashburger.

With our smashed-to-order burgers, fresh ingredients, and tempting sides, Smashburger is sure to become Miami’s favorite burger in no time, and we are proud to join the community.”

Smashburger is developed and owned by private equity firm Consumer Capital Partners (CCP). It operates and develops both corporate and multi-unit franchise territories across the country with 127 restaurants nationwide.
