“Welcome to Moe’s!” will soon be heard on the streets of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, when Moe’s Southwest Grill opens its doors at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 2 at 174 Nina Drive. To celebrate the opening of the new restaurant, the Selinsgrove Moe’s will host a series of community pre-opening events on September 30 and October 1.

On Wednesday, September 30, the Selinsgrove Moe’s will host a free lunch for friends and family between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and an All You Can Eat fundraising dinner and pep rally for the Selinsgrove Area High School Athletic Department from 5 to 8 p.m. The free lunch includes an entrée and a drink for each customer, while supplies last.  And as the name implies, during the All You Can Eat fundraising dinner guests can eat all the fresh and delicious Moe’s food they want for only $10. As part of its commitment to helping the community, the local Moe’s has selected the Selinsgrove Area High School Athletic Department as the recipient of 100 percent of the net sales from the fundraiser. The high school pep band and mascot will be in attendance to add to the fun and excitement surrounding the fundraiser.

On Thursday, October 1, the attention to community spirit and giving shifts to the Selinsgrove community as a whole. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Selinsgrove Moe’s will host a special College and Community V.I.P. Party for all area residents, as well as all students, alumni, faculty, and staff of all area colleges and community colleges. The first 75 customers through the door will receive free Moe’s burritos for a year and all guests will receive a free Moe’s lunch and a free Moe’s spirit T-shirt. The free burritos for a year prize entitle each winner to one burrito per week at the Selinsgrove Moe’s. The free lunch includes an entrée and a drink for each customer, while supplies last.

Later that evening from 5 to 8 p.m., the Selinsgrove Moe’s will host another $10 All You Can Eat pre-opening fundraiser event with 100 percent of the net sales benefitting the Selinsgrove Area School District Elementary, Intermediate, and Middle Schools.

“We are looking forward to celebrating our grand opening by getting to know our Selinsgrove neighbors and giving back to our schools,” says owner Larry Wilson, a Moe’s franchisee for the past seven years.

Wilson is an owner of Moe’s restaurants throughout Maryland, New York, and Pennsylvania. He was named Moe’s Top Franchisee worldwide last year for his aggressive expansion and the successful operation and growth of his restaurants.
