Swann Security, a security monitoring solutions company, announced its first-ever, all-in-one DVR—the 19-inch All-in-One DVR Security System. At the heart of Swann’s latest security product is the DVR-5500 that is built into a 19-inch LCD monitor. The DVR includes all of the latest features, including live remote viewing over the Internet. Combined with four high-quality color cameras, the 19-inch All-in-One DVR Security System is powerful enough to handle any professional security application.

With intuitive menus and pentaplex operation for simultaneous viewing/playback/backup/configuration and an intelligently designed remote control, Swann’s DVR-5500 features can be managed and controlled by even novice security system users. The system also connects to the Web, allowing the user to view live and recorded surveillance footage over the Internet. Despite its streamlined aesthetic, the DVR-5500 houses a 500GB hard drive capable of continuous recording for up to two months, in addition to a USB port that enables hassle-free video backup on a USB flash drive. Swann’s DVR-5500 features the industry’s latest H.264 recording technology that uses less hard drive capacity and allows for faster playback.

The All-in-One DVR Security System has a MSRP of $1,099 U.S. / $1,399.99 CAD and will be available through Swann’s network of retailers. The system and other video surveillance and IT solutions will be on display at this year’s CES show; Swann will be exhibiting in Central Hall at booth 12544.
