Wienerschnitzel will celebrate the grand opening of its first location in Phelan, California, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. as part of Phelan Phamily Fhun Day. The new
Wienerschnitzel restaurant is located at 4145 Phelan Road (at the corner of Phelan Road and Sheep Creek Road) in Phelan and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The celebration will feature free activities and games for guests, including a hot dog eating contest, where the winner will receive an Apple iPod Shuffle and Wienerschnitzel chili dogs for a year. There will also be a free raffle with a bicycle and Apple iPod Shuffle as prizes, as well as a special appearance by “America’s Most Wanted Hot Dog”—The Delicious One. The event will also feature a bounce house and a spin-the-prize-wheel with free t-shirts, antenna toppers, and free chili dog and Tastee-Freez soft-serve ice cream cone coupons. A live radio broadcast will be held onsite from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., hosted by DJ Vic Slick with KOLA 99.9 FM.

The 1,750-square-foot Phelan location features a drive-thru window and indoor seating.
