Newk’s Eatery, with its culinary-driven menu, open kitchens and blue-ribbon ingredients, will open its first Denver-area restaurant in Arvada on August 28, followed by a second area location in Lone Tree, opening September 11.
The new restaurants, locally owned by franchisee Sam Freitag, will be Newk’s westernmost stores, and mark the brand’s continued expansion across the country.
Newk’s Eatery serves grilled and toasted sandwiches, handcrafted pizzas, grilled and tossed salads and kettle-batch soups, all hand-prepared in its open kitchen and delivered to each table, along with freshly brewed iced tea. Each dish features quality ingredients such as petite tenderloin steak, Atlantic salmon, all-white meat chicken breast, sushi-grade Ahi tuna and Rainforest Alliance Certified teas. Sauces, soups and dressings are all scratch-made in restaurants each day.
The centerpiece of the Newk’s dining room is The Roundtable, where guests customize meals with complimentary condiments and extras including house-roasted garlic in Italian extra-virgin olive oil, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, capers, imported pepperoncini, Torinesi-style breadsticks, hand-cut house-made croutons and guest-favorite bread-and-butter pickles.
“We’re bringing a fresh take on fast casual dining to the Denver area with our culinary-driven menu, scratch-made food, fresh ingredients and personal service,” says Newk’s co-founder and CEO Chris Newcomb. “Newk’s is growing because it’s designed for the way people want to eat today, and we are working to bring Newk’s to even more cities across the U.S. this year.”
The 4300-square-foot Arvada restaurant, at 7450 W. 52nd Avenue, will offer indoor dining for 138 guests and patio seating for 28 more. The Lone Tree location, at 10012 Commons Street, will seat 147 guests indoors and offer patio seating for 36. For guests in a hurry, each Newk’s location also features a Grab-N-Go cooler section filled with its most popular fresh-made sandwiches, salads, soups, desserts and beverages.
