Newk’s has expanded its 600-Calorie Menu to include dozens of delicious, low-calorie options that skimp on calories but not flavor. The expanded 600-Calorie Menu—which has been introduced just in time for New Year’s resolutions and will be available year-round—is a complement to Newk’s dynamic menu of fresh tossed salads, artisan pizzas, hot toasted sandwiches, and made-from-scratch soups and desserts.
Offering a leaner take on the brand’s decadent signature dishes, Newk’s 600-Calorie Menu offers a range of wholesome options without forgoing flavor for fitness. The gourmet-inspired menu features dozens of portion-appropriate, hearty soups like the new Hoppin’ John which consists of black-eyed peas, country ham, white rice, tomatoes, and collard greens that pair well with fresh-tossed salads and savory toasted sandwiches. Throughout the year Newk’s also makes special limited time additions to their 600-Calorie Menu to both boost their offerings and infuse dishes with a seasonal flair.

Newk’s meticulously handcrafts each of its meals in its open-view kitchens with rigorously selected, fresh ingredients, making traditional lower calorie offerings, such as soups and salads, as delicious as they are nutritious. The 600-Calorie Menu options—such as the Newk’s Shrimp Po’boy paired with Tomato Basil soup, along with seafood-topped salads like the Ahi Tuna Salad or Shrimp and Avocado Salad topped with calorie-conscious dressings— are far from compromises in either heartiness or flavor.
The Jackson, Mississippi–based Newk’s Eatery currently has nearly 95 locations across 13 states.
