Newk’s Eatery is bringing its signature brand of fresh dining to the Brentwood community with the grand opening of a location in the CityPark development. Opening its doors today at 11 a.m., the new Brentwood Newk’s Eatery is located at 7020 Executive Center Drive.
Owned by franchisee Phillip O’Reilly and his MTN Hospitality team, the Brentwood Newk’s Eatery will be the fifth of nine Newk’s locations scheduled to open in the greater Nashville area by 2019. O’Reilly, who was the original general manager of the fast-casual brand’s first restaurant in Oxford, Mississippi, together with his team has built one of Newk’s most successful franchise operations. MTN Hospitality began Newk’s Nashville expansion in 2008 in Murfreesboro, followed by locations in Franklin, West End, and Brentwood in addition to a separately owned location in Belle Meade.
The Jackson, Mississippi-based Newk’s Eatery currently has more than 80 locations in 13 states and plans to expand to more than 200 units by the end of 2018. Newk’s is featured on Technomic’s list of top 50 fast-casual chains nationwide.
