Newk’s Eatery’s summer menu will feature a trio of salads, available for a limited time in its more than 70 restaurants. Beginning in mid-May, the brand will reintroduce last summer’s popular Red, White, and Blueberry Salad as the headliner of its expanded summer salad menu, which also include a Newk’s Southern Salad and Triple Take Salad.

“The flavor profiles of the carefully-selected market fresh produce that goes into each of our summer salads complement each other and create entrées that are colorful and delicious,” says Alan Wright, vice president of marketing and franchise operations. “Freshness is the heart of our brand, and nobody does it better than Newk’s Eatery. Our fresh tossed salads are made-to-order in our open-view kitchens and we top them with scratch-made dressings.”

Newk’s Red, White, and Blueberry Salad is made of spinach topped with grilled chicken, strawberries, blueberries, watermelon, pecans, feta cheese, and is dressed with a fat-free raspberry vinaigrette for a sweet and tangy finish. The Triple Take Salad, a favorite on Newk’s catering menu, includes bed of mixed greens topped with a flavorful trio of Newk’s signature Chicken Salad, pasta salad, and fruit. The Red, White, and Blueberry Salad, as well as the Triple Take Salad are featured as a health conscious option on the Newk’s Under 600 Calories Menu. Newk’s Southern Salad is a bed of mixed greens topped with Newk’s signature Chicken Salad, grape tomatoes, and croutons with a choice of dressing. Newk’s signature Chicken Salad is made daily and is also available as a sandwich and alongside other salads and sides in the restaurant’s refrigerated Grab-N-Go case.
