Nextep Systems today announced an agreement to provide their Deli Express™ touch screen ordering system to the Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace chain, home to some of Michigan’s highest volume deli counters. Deli Express™ allows customers to order their favorite deli meats and cheeses from a touch screen kiosk when they first enter the store. Customers continue with their shopping and pick up their deli orders about 10 minutes later. on their mobile phone when their order is ready.

More than over 90 percent of surveyed customers rated the Deli Express “excellent” or “very good.” Overall customers found the system to be easy to use, and enjoyed the ability to browse the entire Deli selection at the touch of a button.

Nino Salvaggio’s Troy location served as the pilot for the system. After just two weeks in service, Nino Salvaggio president Kirk Taylor decided to roll out Deli Express™ systems to their other locations, “It’s a no brainer.
