The National Restaurant Association (NRA) announced the hiring of a new vice president of member value and strategy, Thomas Wojno.

In his new role, Wojno will focus on growing and improving the NRA's national membership outreach, supporting state restaurant associations in their member acquisition and retention efforts, and developing NRA's relationships with key industry operators.

“Tom is an excellent addition to NRA’s membership team as we focus on transforming our member engagement efforts and delivering value to the restaurant industry," says Phil Kafarakis, chief innovation and member advancement officer. "His strategic business experience in both the corporate and nonprofit arena will help us create and deliver our unique products and services to operators as they look to build profitably and grow their businesses.”

Wojno joins the NRA from America's Promise Alliance, where he served as vice president of resource development since 2010. In that capacity, he developed strategies, processes, and systems to improve programs and the growth of annual revenue. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Bloomberg L.P.

Wojno's unique experience within both the private and public sector will contribute to the business transformation as the NRA is strengthens its approach to member value through expanding its products and services portfolio.  Wojno's responsibilities will include providing insights to improve the membership value proposition and the development of a member value strategic plan.

Wojno holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational and business communication from Fairfield University.
