The National Restaurant Association announced that registration for news media is now open for its 2010 Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show and International Wine, Spirits & Beer Event (IWSB). NRA Show 2010 will be held May 22-25, 2010, at McCormick Place in Chicago, and is the restaurant and hospitality industry’s largest trade show. IWSB 2010 will be held in conjunction with the NRA Show on May 23-24, and is the only beverage alcohol event exclusively focused on the restaurant and hospitality industry. Registration is available online for credentialed members of the news media and restaurant, food, beverage, foodservice, and hospitality industry bloggers.

“Nearly 500 journalists and bloggers from across the U.S. and around the world attended NRA Show 2009 and IWSB 2009 to report on new products and the latest industry trends,” says David Gilbert, chief operating officer of the National Restaurant Association. “The NRA Show is a must-attend event for anyone covering the restaurant and foodservice industry, and offers more experts, trend-setters, celebrity chefs, and innovative products and services than any other event. In just four days, attending writers and editors will gather story ideas, sources, and trends to cover all angles of the industry, from menus and front-of-the-house technology, to back-of-the-house equipment and operational strategies. Many consumer trends start in foodservice, so the NRA Show provides the first peek under the tent.”
