Nutrition Info, Store Locator Highlight Taco Time NW App

Taco Time Northwest, a family-owned Mexican restaurant, announced that it now offers a free smartphone application featuring a fully customizable nutritional calculator. The Taco Time NW application helps customers make educated choices by displaying and storing nutrition information about their favorite meal combinations.

The app is available for iPhone and Android and a version for Blackberry will be ready by the end of October. The Taco Time NW app is free to download and features a full menu, nutritional calculator, My Meal feature to customize and save the user’s favorite menu combinations, and a Taco Time NW locator with restaurant hours and directions. In addition, the app includes Made From Scratch, a game in which users can challenge their Facebook friends to taco supremacy.

“In the smartphone era, technology makes it easier to find answers to our everyday questions, including questions about nutrition,” says Brandon Petersen, marketing manager of Taco Time NW. “We are joining the movement and providing our customers with the tools they need to easily make the dining choices that are perfect for them, including the healthier options on our new Fit-Hits menu.”

The app is available to download through the app store or marketplace for each device and can be found online at the company’s website.
