NYPD Pizza, a locally owned and operated family pizza kitchen with ten locations throughout Phoenix, announced a yearlong corporate partnership with Banner Health Foundation, the philanthropic resource for Banner Health. “We are proud to support Banner’s mission of making a difference in people’s lives in our community,” says Rich Stark, CEO of NYPD Pizza. “We have created a dynamic program that focuses on ways to positively impact Banner’s patients, employees, physicians, and volunteers. Throughout the year, we look forward to sharing news about our partnership with our loyal NYPD Pizza fans.” As part the corporate partnership, all ten NYPD Pizza restaurants now offer Banner employees a 10 percent discount for dine-in food orders when they present their employee badge. In addition, NYPD’s mascot, Tommy the Tomato, is set to host pizza parties for patients and their families at Banner Children’s Cardon Children’s Medical Center and Banner Thunderbird Medical Center locations. NYPD Pizza has also donated silent auction items for two of Banner Health Foundation’s signature fundraising events: Stars of the Season benefitting Cardon Children’s and Candlelight Capers benefitting Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center. “The impact philanthropy has on Banner’s mission is immeasurable,” says Andy Kramer-Peterson, president and CEO of Banner Health Foundation. “We are excited NYPD Pizza has joined us as a corporate partner to garner greater community awareness and support.”
