Ono Hawaiian BBQ, known for its island-inspired Hawaiian plates, expands its presence in San Jose with their second location in the Sun Garden complex center near the Downtown College Prep and San Jose State Stadium. The 78th location will open its doors on Tuesday, January 8 followed by a grand opening luau celebration that will take place later this year.

“We continue to see the demand in northern California asking for more Ono Hawaiian BBQ restaurants,” says Joshua Liang, chief executive officer of Ono Hawaiian BBQ. “We are passionate about providing fresh made-to-order Hawaiian fare to the community and cannot wait to meet our new and returning San Joseans with our second location.”

Ono Hawaiian BBQ’s core menu features Hawaiian-inspired plate lunches and island specialties like Hawaiian BBQ Chicken, Spam Musubi and Chicken Katsu made through a fusion of flavors. The interior design incorporates an inviting yet industrial chic feel inspired by Hawaii’s rustic elements including reclaimed wood walls, rope lighting, aqua tiles and tropical planters.

The newly opened Ono Hawaiian BBQ is located at 1510 Monterey Road, Unit 40, San Jose, CA  95112 and will operate Sun-Thurs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Fri-Sat 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
