Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, America’s fastest-growing frozen yogurt concept, announced today the appointment of Geoff Goodman as its new President. Goodman, who most recently served as vice president of brand excellence for the Dallas-based CiCi’s Pizza, will oversee operations, product development, brand management, and franchise development. Reese Travis will remain CEO and focus on the company’s strategic growth.

As president, Goodman’s focus will be continuing to foster the company’s significant growth throughout both the U.S. and around the world through franchise recruitment and opening traditional and non-traditional store models. He will also be building on his extensive operations and brand marketing experience to continue Orange Leaf’s focus on providing a culture of customer service and brand consistency in the frozen yogurt sector.

“Geoff is the ideal leader to help Orange Leaf during this crucial period of shake-out in the frozen yogurt industry,” Travis says. “His extensive operations experience and proven track record of improving customer experience make him the perfect fit in this new role.”

“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the Orange Leaf team as we work with our franchisees to ensure that the Orange Leaf experience and premium product offering are the best in the industry,” Goodman says.

During his tenure at CiCi’s Pizza, Goodman oversaw the development and operations of its nearly 500 corporate and franchise restaurants and reversed multi-year sales declines. Prior to joining CiCi’s in 2007, Goodman was vice president of operations and education for Rita’s Water Ice where he helped open and develop more than 100 franchise locations. He also gained relevant frozen dessert experience as vice president of operations for Buster’s Real Ice Cream.
