Orange Leaf Swirls New Flavors for Fall

    Industry News | September 30, 2020

This fall Orange Leaf is swirling two fan favorites—Toasted Marshmallow Froyo and Cookies ‘N Cream Gelato—which can be swirled together for a TWIST on a cozy classic, a Cookies N’ Cream S’more. The limited-time flavors are available at participating Orange Leaf locations from September 8 until November 8.

Bringing back Toasted Marshmallow Froyo is a frequent request not only from loyal guests but also from the franchise community. Pairing it alongside the creamy Cookies ‘N Cream Gelato flavor, introduced as an LTO in 2019, was a no brainer as it made a delicious combination when swirled together.

“We’re always listening to feedback from our franchise partners and what their guests crave,” says president & COO, Kendall Ware. “Toasted Marshmallow Froyo has been a guest favorite since we first launched it in 2015 and again in 2018, so we are excited to bring it back for a third season alongside a past favorite from last year, Cookies ‘N Cream Gelato.”

The brand continues to offer to-go, curbside, and mobile delivery at majority of locations to accommodate the challenges of COVID-19. While the self-serve experience is limited at this time, Orange Leaf’s mission is to continue making life sweeter for their guests by having all products crew served in a safe environment and offering as many to-go options as possible.

In early 2019, Orange Leaf’s leadership team announced their creation of a new mini donut and craft coffee franchise called Humble Donut Co. Designed as a co-brand solution for new and existing Orange Leaf locations and as an efficient vehicle to increase non-traditional growth. In December of 2019, Ware also announced their acquisition and partnership with Old School Bagel, a 13 year old brand with 10 locations. OSB began franchising in February of 2020 and has converted existing locations into franchise units. “I’m proud of all our franchise partners from all 3 brands as they continue to show strength through this pandemic and be present for their local communities,” said Ware.
