EVOL Burritos, the Boulder, Colorado–based maker of made-from-scratch, natural, and organic frozen burritos, announced its new line of deli-wrapped burritos, created to meet the demands of busy on-the-go consumers. The burritos, which can be sold fresh or hot off the shelf, are available now at locations across the country, including coffee shops, universities, and convenience stores.

“We are extremely excited about this product because the deli-wrapped burritos give consumers the same great EVOL experience but at locations, venues, and times that are the most appropriate and convenient for them,” says Philip Anson, EVOL Burrito founder and chief operating officer. “Given the demand for a product like this, retailers will also find a lot of value in the deli-wrapped burritos as both a top-selling item and a no-hassle product that can be defrosted on an as-needed basis.”

The new EVOL burritos give retailers a dynamic way to connect with their customers’ needs for healthy, quick, and hot options. At 7 ounces, the deli-wrapped burritos come in six varieties: Potato, Egg & Cheese; Sausage, Egg & Cheese; Bacon, Egg & Cheese; Veggie, Bean & Cheese; Chicken, Bean & Cheese; and Shredded Beef.

Every EVOL burrito contains premium ingredients such as beef and pork sourced from Niman Ranch, an industry provider in sustainably and humanely raised meats; free-range poultry from Petaluma Farms; and cage-free eggs from Colorado-based Nest Fresh Eggs.

“As the grab-and-go section continues to experience an increase in traffic, consumers are demanding more items that are healthy, tasty, and affordable,” says Whole Foods Boulder store team leader Thomas Rich. “The EVOL deli-wrapped burritos will do well in the stores because they meet this criteria and bridge the gap between a quick meal and an enjoyable one.”
