The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. is baking up an offer in celebration of National Bagel Day Tuesday, February 9. On this special day, the restaurant is thanking its guests for their patronage by providing a free Egg and Cheese Bagel Pocket with the purchase of any bagel pocket menu item. This offer is limited to one buy-one-get-one-free order per customer and will last all day or until supplies last at participating locations.

“We wait all year to celebrate National Bagel Day with our guests,” says Mike Welch, COO at The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. “This year, we’re highlighting our newest menu item, Brooklyn Water Bagel Pockets, which are stuffed to perfection with all your favorite Brooklyn ingredients.”

As with its authentic Brooklyn bagels, The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. never deviates from the old-world artisan recipe for making bagels when it comes to its new Bagel Pockets. Each bagel is boiled and then baked fresh in the traditional Brooklyn way and is made with only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients, including the restaurant’s Brooklynized water. Using its proprietary water treatment system called “Brooklyn Water Works,” The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. successfully replicates the natural composition of the water found in the Catskill Mountains. This proprietary water, which is cold, clean, and purified, is used in the restaurant products that guests order. As The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. proudly declares, “It’s all about the water.”

In addition to artisan-baked bagels, the made-to-order menu at The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. includes other Brooklyn favorites, such as specialty breakfast sandwiches, signature sandwiches, overstuffed Brooklyn Deli sandwiches, and house-made cookies and muffins. Guests can also enjoy a variety of artisan blends of fresh roasted coffee, including light, medium, and dark coffee, as well as the restaurant’s signature Iced Coffee Cubsta, featuring ice cubes made completely out of freshly roasted coffee.

Since launching its first restaurant in 2009, The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. has experienced tremendous growth and success. The Florida-based brand is now a national innovator in the fast casual industry with 24 restaurant locations in the following six states: California, Georgia, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, and North Carolina. As the company continues its expansion across the United States, six additional locations in Florida are planned for 2016, the earliest of which will open in Tampa this March.
