Panda Express Reaches 1,500-Store Milestone

Panda Express, the world leader in Asian dining experiences, has reached a major milestone, announcing the opening of its 1,500^th location.

Located in Cordova, Tennessee, the first Panda Express restaurant in the Memphis area is also the site for one of Panda’s new store design prototypes.

“Our 1,500^th unit is an entirely new design in a brand new market for Panda Express,” says David Landsberg, chief development officer, Panda Restaurant Group. “We are excited to further enhance our guests’ fast-casual dining experience with fantastic food featuring premium ingredients that is served in a warm and inviting ambiance.”

The new restaurant design will give a fresh and modern look to the exterior and interior of Panda Express locations and will incorporate the brand’s heritage while maintaining Panda’s welcoming atmosphere.

“Panda is dedicated to providing the best dining experience possible and the new design gives guests another reason to love Panda Express,” Landsberg says.

The 1,500^th Panda Express is open daily from 10:30 a.m.–10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 10:30 a.m. –10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10:30 a.m.–9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
