Panda Express, America’s favorite Chinese kitchen, has announced the launch day of a new location in Greenville, South Carolina on September 22 at 11 a.m. To celebrate the new location, the restaurant will donate a percentage of launch day proceeds to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate.

Looking to establish roots in the Greenville community, the family-owned business attended the Furman Paladins home game on Saturday, September 9, to pass out chorks, menus and coupon offers at the event. Panda Express’ street team will continue distributing these items from September 20 to 22, in an effort to bond with the Greenville neighborhood.

“We’re delighted to begin serving the area of Greenville and become an important part of the community,” says Sylvia Jadhisna Takacs, Area Coach of Operations. “We are pleased to be able to offer guests our delicious American Chinese menu and extend our people-centric values to the residents of Greenville.”

In celebration of Panda Express joining the community, the new restaurant will donate 20 percent of the profits from September 22 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate. Furthermore, the Greenville location will continue to pursue opportunities to contribute to the people of Greenville by donating a percentage of a day’s proceeds to local organizations in the future.

With this opening, Panda Express is pleased to bring employment opportunities to the Greenville area. The restaurant will offer its new associates chances to grow both professionally and personally at different levels. Through its specialized programs and self-development classes offered to all employees, the Panda team dedicates itself to becoming a world leader in people development.
