Papa Gino's Unveils Hiring Software

PeopleMatter, the talent management solution provider for the service industry, and Papa Gino’s, the parent company of Papa Gino’s Pizzeria and D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches, announced the deployment of PeopleMatter HIRE. The software will manage Papa Gino’s hiring processes for the restaurant’s more than 280 locations across New England.

Designed to track and pre-qualify dependable, service-minded applicants, PeopleMatter’s software-as-a-service platform automates the hiring and onboarding of employees who align with Papa Gino’s company values and culture.

“Papa Gino’s is committed to delivering a premium-value experience for every guest and team member,” says Rick Wolf, president and CEO of Papa Gino’s. “Our employees are part of our family. We chose PeopleMatter because of their dedication to providing the ultimate experience—for both our team members using the software and our guests receiving better service.”

HIRE’s tracking, screening, onboarding, and offboarding tools help companies find top talent quickly and easily. PeopleMatter’s solution features increase product adoption, process efficiency, and employee engagement with intuitive workflows, language translation, metrics reporting, and social media integration.

HIRE’s online application can be configured to automatically screen for federal and state hiring incentive program eligibility, as well as run assessment and background tests to ensure proper candidate “fit.”

Pre-screening candidates help reduce turnover and related expenses, which for an hourly worker averages $2,228, according to a 2008 CedarCrestone study. Embedded tax credit technology can save employers up to $9,000 per qualified employee.

“Our integrated platform helps employers find, develop, and retain their most valuable asset: their employees,” says Nate DaPore, PeopleMatter president and CEO. “With our innovative suite of HR products, Papa Gino’s can strengthen its commitment to exceptional employee and customer service.

“Designed to engage workers and turn jobs into rewarding careers, PeopleMatter technology benefits both the employee and the employer,” DaPore says.
