Papa Murphy's Gets Creative with New Phoenix Unit

Papa Murphy’s, the take ’n’ bake pizza franchise, announced the milestone of its 1,400th location and first Create store opening in Phoenix.

Papa Murphy’s long history and consistent growth are attributed to the millions of customers who have come to rely on Papa Murphy’s for the entire meal experience. Not only do customers choose their own toppings for their pizza dough, but they have the pleasure of filling their home with the aroma of their pizza creation. That aroma is Papa Murphy’s not-so-secret way to get the family gathered around the dinner table. This new store location will allow families in the Peoria area of Phoenix a fresh solution to the ‘dinnertime dilemma’ in a modern, inviting new design.

Since introducing the Create store concept in September, Papa Murphy’s has opened two of the new store design locations in Austin. The newly redesigned Papa Murphy’s locations focus on complete transparency and personalization. An open layout showcases the dough prep area, vegetable toppings, and whole-milk mozzarella cheese. A digital menu board display enhances the guest experience and provides a resource for local messaging. The store flow allows the guest to see their pizza being created right before their eyes.

“The opening of our 1,400th location is a significant accomplishment for Papa Murphy’s, and we are incredibly proud of achieving this great milestone,” says Kevin King, Papa Murphy’s chief development officer. “Having that location in our new Create store design, and the first of its kind in the Phoenix market, makes it just that much more special.”

“We have many dedicated franchise owners and team members that have made this possible, and I would like to thank everyone for their valuable contributions,” King adds. “We are excited to continue to grow and expand our store footprint, brand presence, and Create store locations in existing and new markets.”
