Papa Murphy’s Holdings, the world’s leading take ’n’ bake pizza franchise, announced that the company will participate in Clark County Connects fourth annual Day of Service event on Saturday, September 12. The county-wide initiative is designed to bring communities together through service that fosters a sense of community pride and also provides nonperishable food donations to Share, a nonprofit organization that serves the hungry and homeless.

“Serving with purpose has always been at the core of our brand and we are very proud to be working with an organization that shares our passion for positively impacting the community, especially through providing and serving fresh food,” says Papa Murphy’s president and CEO Ken Calwell.  “Papa Murphy’s has been headquartered in Vancouver for many years and we look forward to continuing to give back to our local community through initiatives like these.”

Papa Murphy’s team members will work alongside more than a thousand volunteers to complete county-wide cleanup projects and provide nonperishable food items to food banks across the county. Clark County Connects is working in conjunction with Share, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to lead the hungry and homeless to self-sufficiency. The Day of Service kickoff event will take place at the Share Fromhold Service Center headquarters in Vancouver beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12.

Clark County Connects is an affiliation of non-profit and service-oriented organizations formed to sponsor an annual Day of Service throughout Clark County. The organization’s goal is to raise awareness of the needs in the community and to provide opportunities for volunteers to meet those needs.
