Papa Murphy’s Holdings Inc., the world’s leading take ’n’ bake pizza franchise, is announcing the return of its Taco Grande Pizza for a limited time only. The Taco Grande Pizza, which combines the distinct flavors of a taco with fresh ingredients and Papa Murphy’s signature dough made in-store daily, will be available at participating Papa Murphy’s locations nationwide beginning April 28 through May 18.
“We invite our fans to add a creative twist to the usual Taco Tuesday dinner or this year’s Cinco de Mayo fiesta by trying one of our all-time favorite pizzas, the Taco Grande,” says Michael Miyahara, corporate chef, director of product development of Papa Murphy's. “The Taco Grande pizza is a fusion of savory flavors that has satisfied Papa Murphy’s pizza fans of all ages for over seven years.”
Every Taco Grande Pizza starts with the choice of Papa Murphy’s crust made from fresh, scratch-made dough and topped with generous portions of 100-percent whole-milk Mozzarella cheese grated in-store daily, a mixture of salsa and refried beans, taco seasoning, a choice of chicken or beef, Roma tomatoes, mixed onions, black olives, and fresh grated Cheddar cheese. Customers can take their Taco Grande creation and bake it at 425 degrees for 12 to 18 minutes and serve a fresh, hot pizza baked in their own oven.
Customers are invited to make family dinner or Cinco de Mayo parties even more customizable = by trying one of these Mexican-themed pizza hacks:
· Add cilantro and diced avocado after baking
· Top with crushed tortilla chips after baking
· Throw on some jalapeños.
