    ParTech Announces New VP of Sales and Marketing

    ParTech Inc., provider of software and hardware solutions for restaurants, announced that Tim Votaw was named senior vice president of sales and marketing. ParTech Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Par Technology Corporation.

    “Tim brings a broad range of experience to this key position at Par,” says A. Edwin Soladay, ParTech president. “He will be leading our global sales and marketing organization, including direct and indirect sales with an emphasis on providing industry-leading products, services, and support to our major account customers including McDonalds, YUM Brands Inc., Burger King, Subway, and CKE. He will also be executing a variety of new global business initiatives in the rapidly growing retail, restaurant, and hospitality industries.”

    Votaw has over 25 years of sales, marketing, and business development experience. Most recently, he was senior vice president of sales for the Americas at Honeywell Scanning & Mobility (previously Hand Held Products Inc.), where he oversaw the company’s sales organization and launched its professional services and business development functions. Prior to that, he was vice president of sales and marketing for Coreintellect Inc., and led Americas’ sales at Iomega Corporation during the company’s growth period in the 1990s.
