PDQ restaurants (People Dedicated to Quality) and Soleciety announced that they will host a Giving Tuesday event on Tuesday, December 3 at Soleciety’s downtown location at 202 E. Cass Street in Tampa. The PDQ team will be on-site throughout the day from 8 am-8 pm, selling PDQ’s famous hand-breaded chicken tender meals, with 100 percent of all proceeds going directly to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay. The event will also include exclusive PDQ and Soleciety co-branded merchandise, with 100 percent of sales of those items also being donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay.
Local celebrities and organizations will take part in this all-day event, helping to serve meals and visit with guests who make a donation with the purchase of a meal. Confirmed attendees thus far include Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Tampa Bay Lightning and members of the USF band, In addition, local radio personalities like Drew Garabo and Spanish from 102.5 The Bone, Danielle (Magic 94.9 FM), Ann Kelly (105.5 FM WDUV), Chris Fisher (107.3 The Eagle), Sam from 97X, and Scotty from the Miguel and Holly Show (Hot 101.5 FM), all from Cox Media Group, will be on-site, along with local artists and musicians and more. A full schedule of events will be posted on the Facebook event page and updated regularly leading up to the event.
In addition, PDQ will partner with Boys & Girls Clubs across the country as it will donate a portion of proceeds from the sale of its award-winning Crispy Chicken sandwich at all locations from December 3 through January 6. This partnership will include working with the local clubs and PDQ restaurants to give back within each of the communities.
