NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne teamed up with PDQ (People Dedicated to Quality) restaurants to introduce a specialty sandwich available this October and November. PDQ—known for its hand-breaded chicken tenders, hand-tossed salads, made-to-order sandwiches, and hand-spun milkshakes—is beloved throughout the Southeast and beyond for its high-touch, high-integrity approach to fresh food, fast.

Kahne, the No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports driver, created the rev’d up BBQ sandwich to be served exclusively at all 11 PDQ locations throughout North and South Carolina from October 5 through November 30. A $1 donation from each sandwich sold will benefit the Kasey Kahne Foundation in their effort to raise funds to support chronically ill children and their families.

Kahne, who has earned 17 career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series wins and 5 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup berths, worked with the PDQ team to incorporate his love for BBQ and topped it off with fresh ingredients. This one-of-a-kind collaboration was created with Kahne’s favorite tastes and is appropriately named the Karolina Kahnewich.

The sandwich includes PDQ’s fresh, never-frozen, crispy, 100% natural chicken tenders and is tossed in a rev-d up barbeque sauce. The creation is topped with fresh, homemade coleslaw and Grillo’s all-natural Pickles while served on a toasted brioche bun.
