Pei Wei, a leader in Asian-inspired fast-casual cuisine, taps Tulsa, Oklahoma, as its test market for the introduction of a new restaurant design and menu additions that highlight nutrition and flavors spanning a variety of Asian cuisines.
Guests at all four Tulsa restaurants will be among the first to try Pei Wei’s 17 original new dishes inspired by Asian philosophies, each made with ingredients that were hand-selected for maximum taste and nutrition. New dishes range from Japanese Steak & Shrimp Chile Ramen to the Southeast Asian flavors of new Thai Basil Chicken and Supergreen Thai Coconut Curry. Other items include Edamame Hummus and Wok-Tossed Wings.
“We chose Tulsa to test our new look and menu because it provides a good cross-section of cities where we have restaurants, and we think we’ll get meaningful feedback that we can apply to multiple locations across the nation,” says Clay Dover, Pei Wei chief marketing officer. “The changes guests will see locally are part of our efforts to share Pei Wei’s core belief that eating well is at the center of a well-balanced life.”
Pei Wei’s menu introductions in Tulsa are part of the company’s rebranding project, which includes design updates that create a more modern atmosphere with traditional Asian details and pops of bright color.
The new menu is available exclusively in all four of Pei Wei’s Tulsa-area locations.
