Penn Station East Coast Subs, a fast-casual restaurant known for its grilled, made-to-order sub sandwiches, will celebrate National Lemonade Day Sunday, August 20 by giving away the brand’s signature hand-squeezed lemonade with any sub purchase.
“National Lemonade Day is a fun time to celebrate and promote our fresh-squeezed lemonade, especially in the middle of a hot month like August,” says Penn Station president Craig Dunaway. “It’s made several times daily in the restaurants, and this is the perfect time to thank and delight our customers with a free cup of lemonade.”
All Penn Station locations are participating in Lemonade Day. Customers will receive a regular sized lemonade with the purchase of any sandwich.
Founded in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1985, Penn Station serves a variety of grilled and cold deli sandwiches made to order with high-quality ingredients on freshly baked bread. The menu also includes fresh-cut fries, hand-squeezed lemonade made throughout the day and chocolate chunk cookies baked in the restaurant.
Penn Station has more than 310 locations in 15 states including Ohio, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. All but one location is franchised.
Projections call for the opening of 15 to 20 restaurants nationwide in 2017. Penn Station is targeting Kansas City, Atlanta, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Cleveland and Raleigh.
