Penn Station East Coast Subs, a fast-casual restaurant known for its grilled, made-to-order sub sandwiches, hand-squeezed lemonade, and fresh-cut fries, updated its app with new features. The app now supports mobile pay, allowing customers to pay for their order via the app, and gift card purchases, allowing customers to send gift cards digitally via the app.
For the holidays, customers will receive a free 6-inch sub with every $25 gift card purchase through December 31. The reward will go into the customer’s loyalty account on the app within seven days of purchase.
“Mobile pay and digital gift cards were some of the most requested features for our app,” says Craig Dunaway, president of Penn Station. “We’re thrilled to launch this update in time for the holiday season so customers can give the gift of amazing food.”

Projections call for the opening of 20 restaurants nationwide in 2016. Penn Station is targeting Kansas City, Atlanta, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Richmond, Virginia and Dallas for franchise expansion.
