Panda Express debuts Peppercorn Shrimp, its boldest and zestiest creation to date. It is made with plump, marinated shrimp, tender asparagus, chopped yellow onions, and sweet red bell peppers tossed in a sizzling wok with a signature sauce made from bold, Thai green peppercorns, and Asian spices.
Panda Express’ Peppercorn Shrimp is available starting Feb. 15 for a limited time.
The premium entrée highlights Thai green peppercorns, which deliver rich flavors and mild notes of spiciness. Often used in traditional Thai cooking, the green peppercorn offers guests the exciting and adventurous eating experience they have come to expect from Panda Express.
To celebrate its grand entrance, Panda Express will offer a free entrée serving of the Peppercorn Shrimp dish to Facebook fans on Feb. 22, which is also the first day of Lent. Guests who “like” Panda Express on Facebook can download the free entrée coupon, which will be available on Feb. 15.
“We constantly search for new and exciting flavors to share with our guests,” says Andy Kao, executive chef at Panda Express. “With its premium ingredients and bold flavors, we truly believe that Panda Express’ Peppercorn Shrimp will be loved by our guests.”
Peppercorn Shrimp will be available from Feb. 15 through April 10, 2012, in Panda Express restaurants nationwide and also on the company’s catering menu.
