Philly’s Best announced its latest crave-worthy creation, the new Bacon Ranch Chicken Cheesesteak. Available for a limited time at all Philly’s Best locations throughout California, this newest cheesesteak is prepared to order on a seasoned flat-top grill and features thinly sliced chicken breast with melted American cheese, crisp bacon and creamy ranch, all piled into an authentic Amoroso Roll.

“This is not your ordinary chicken sandwich! Our new Bacon Ranch Chicken Cheesesteak is next level deliciousness, made using the quality ingredients we’re known for, including Amoroso Rolls that we bring in from the east coast, because any other bread wouldn’t be authentic Philly!” says Bob Levey, founder of Philly’s Best. “We’ll stack up our famous Chicken Cheesesteak against any other chicken sandwich out there, and since we love keeping things fresh and fun, we upped the ante by adding crisp bacon and creamy ranch to an already beloved recipe. The taste explosion is unreal and we’re confident guests are going to love this epic flavor combination!” 

The Philly’s Best story begins in the 1980s when Levey was stationed in San Diego, California while serving in the Navy. Far from home and finding no place to satisfy his cheesesteak cravings, the dream of bringing his favorite Philly food to SoCal was born. Along with his Philly-native wife, Andrea, the couple opened their first Philly’s Best Cheesesteak and Hoagie Shop in 1992. Since then, the brand has expanded throughout California. They were just named a 2021 “Best Sandwich in Orange County” by the Orange County Register, and recognized as “Best Sandwich” by the readers of OC Weekly for three consecutive years. Other notable accolades include “Best Cheesesteak” by LA Magazine and “Favorite Sandwich Shop” by the readers of Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.
