Zoyo Neighborhood Yogurt, an Arizona-based self-serve frozen yogurt franchise, announced the opening of its first Midwest location in Warsaw, Indiana. Operated by local franchisee Deron Manwaring, the 1,750-square-foot store provides community members a place to socialize and enjoy Zoyo’s signature frozen yogurt flavors and toppings.
“Zoyo has a culture that generates thriving franchise start-ups,” Manwaring says. “New franchisees are given an all-inclusive start-up plan that guides them through everything, from ways to acquire start-up capital to how to find the perfect, high-traffic location. Zoyo has invested a lot of time and effort into ensuring that the build-out process for stores is cost-efficient and that once open, they are simple to successfully run with a small staff.”
In 2012, Zoyo achieved system-wide positive comp growth. In addition to the Indiana store, the brand has 10 locations throughout the metro-Phoenix area, with additional openings planned in Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas by the end of the year. Zoyo is also actively pursuing franchisees to operate in markets throughout the rest of the U.S., including in New York.
“In a crowded marketplace, Zoyo provides an experience unlike any other frozen yogurt shop,” says Aaron Klusman, founder of Zoyo Neighborhood Yogurt.“We serve the highest quality toppings and ingredients, and provide a relaxed atmosphere that allows families and friends to socialize and unwind. We strive to be an evening ritual for the community.”
