Piada Italian Street Food (Piada) announced the launch of its newest menu item – the Lemon Kale Caesar Salad – available now at all Piada locations. From March 1 to March 31, Piada will donate $1 from the purchase of every Lemon Kale Caesar Salad at all locations to Pelotonia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending cancer through funding innovative cancer research.
Replacing the Deluxe Caesar Salad, the Lemon Kale Caesar Salad includes a lemon wedge for a fresh squeeze of citrus and flavor to satisfy any palette. Ingredients include kale, romaine, red cabbage, napa, pancetta, bruschetta tomatoes, parmesan crisp (made from Piada dough and grated parmesan), grated parmesan & romano cheeses, lemon wedges and housemade Caesar dressing.
In addition, as part of the “Piada Gives” opt-in donation program – accessible through the Piada app – guests can opt-in to contribute 1% of their order and round up donations to the nearest dollar via mypiada.com, both directly supporting Pelotonia initiatives.
“Hospitality is at the heart of what we do at Piada, but it means so much more than providing the Guest with an exceptional experience and delicious food,” says Matt Harding, Senior Vice President of Culinary and Menu Innovation at Piada. “It means supporting our Guests by building up our communities, and we can do that by supporting incredible organizations like Pelotonia.”
Piada continually delivers on its mission of giving back to the community and supporting organizations that make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
