Pie Five Pizza Co. will debut its first Alabama restaurant at 4741 Chace Landing Circle, Suite 114, in Hoover, just one mile south of the Galleria, on Friday, February 20.

Pie Five’s made-to-order pies offer variety for one set price. Any way you top them, the “five” in Pie Five means it all happens in five minutes or less.


“We’ve been working toward this day for months now, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how the excitement has built in and around Hoover for Pie Five’s debut,” says Fred Gustin, co-owner with Kurt Guttshall of local franchisee Quality Restaurant Concepts, LLC. “We’re getting ready to introduce pizza lovers to a new and better way of enjoying their favorite meal, with an emphasis on fresh, high-quality ingredients, virtually unlimited variety and the speed of service that today’s on-the-go consumer is demanding. I think they’re going to be blown away.”


The official grand opening for the new restaurant will be held on Friday, February 27, with a live remote broadcast by WQEN 103.7 the Q from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., plenty of food and merchandise giveaways and the opportunity to win free Pie Five for a year.

In addition, the new restaurant will donate half of its sales from pre-opening training events held this week to Big Oak Ranch Boys & Girls Homes, a Christian home for children.


“One of the privileges we have as business owners is to give back to our local community, and that’s exactly what we’re doing through Big Oak Ranch,” Guttshall says. “It’s an absolutely wonderful place that serves wonderful kids, and we’re proud to do our part to help them do even more good for so many special children who just need a break.”


The new Hoover restaurant marks the chain’s 37th location in 10 states (Alabama, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia) with more than 400 company-owned and announced franchise units under contract in 14 states and Washington, DC.


The Chace Landing restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
