Pieology Pizzeria, a fast-casual pizza brand, announced the addition of industry expert Stephanie Lambrecht, who joins the company’s dynamic management team as vice president of operations. Lambrecht oversees systems management and restaurant operations to further advance strategic brand growth that is already thriving. With 37 restaurants across Arizona, California, Colorado, Minnesota, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, and Utah, Pieology will grow to more than 50 restaurants by December and 180 restaurants by the end of 2015, with commitments for 500 restaurants.

“With her unparalleled level of experience and true mastery of corporate operations, we are confident that Stephanie will not only streamline day-to-day processes, but also infuse our culture with the enthusiasm and know-how that she provides,” says Carl Chang, founder and CEO of Pieology Pizzeria. “With her level of expertise in operations, Stephanie will be an excellent addition to an already robust management team that is dedicated to building the Pieology brand.”

With more than 20 years of experience in leadership and operations, Lambrecht comes to Pieology as a true hospitality veteran, having served as vice president of operations at Veggie Grill, and held senior level positions at Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. Lambrecht possesses a proven track record of successfully leading operations, building high performing teams, establishing new concepts, and increasing average restaurant volumes and improving profitability.

“From the minute I visited my first Pieology Pizzeria, I knew something special was happening here,” Lambrecht says. “As the segment leader in fast-casual pizza, what Carl Chang and the team have built is very exciting. I’m honored to be part of the leadership team as we make a difference in the world, one pie at a time.”

At Pieology Pizzeria, guests can create their own personalized pizza pies by choosing from 30 fresh ingredients. Pieology also offers a selection of seven signature pizzas, which can be customized upon request, all for under $8. Pieology Pizzeria is taking the personalized create-your-own, artisan pizza category by storm, and the company is committed to being an active member of each community it serves through local charity-based involvement.

The Pieology experience starts with fresh house-made dough that is pressed into 11.5-inch, thin, artisan-style crusts. As the guests move down the line, they select among a variety of base signature sauces including fiery buffalo sauce, pesto, barbecue sauce, red sauce, herb butter, and olive oil. They can then choose from among 30 fresh, flavorful meats, cheeses, vegetables, herbs, spices, and after-bake “Flavor Blast” sauces to create their own unique “masterpiece” in unlimited flavor combinations for under $8. The pizzas are cooked in an open-flame, hearth stone, 800-degree deck oven for approximately four minutes. Custom pizza pies are then delivered to the table by Pieology’s friendly servers, or immediately boxed up for takeout. The restaurant also offers a gluten-free crust, Caesar or Classic Organic Pieology salads, and savory Herb Butter or sweet Cinnamon Sugar Strips.
