Pieology Pizzeria has announced that their recently opened Fresno, California, location at the El Paseo Marketplace raised $1,155.83 for the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society. To celebrate the new location and to affirm the company’s focus on social responsibility, the restaurant pledged to donate 100 percent of sales generated from a pre-opening event to the MS Society.

“We are grateful to the many people in the Fresno community who came out to support such a worthy cause,” says Juan Rivera, Pieology general manager. “Our founders, the Chang family, inspire and encourage all Pieology team members to creative positive change. This is the first partnership of many and we’re proud to play our part in any way we can.”

The Multiple Sclerosis Society is a national organization with members who are passionate about creating a world free of Multiple Sclerosis. With chapters in every state, the MS Society helps people affected by the disease by funding research, facilitating professional education, and providing services for individuals with MS and their families.

“It was an honor to team up with the individuals at Pieology to raise funds for our organization,” says Fotini Alfieris, director of Central California for the National MS Society. “Every dollar raised by Pieology will help people living with MS in Fresno and San Joaquin, by funding research and programs.”

Pieology Pizzeria at The Marketplace at El Paseo comfortably seats approximately 52 guests inside and 28 outside in an industrial-chic and friendly environment where inspirational quotes decorate the walls, menus and employee uniforms.  The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
