The award-winning pizza brand recently announced the newest addition to its corporate team, welcoming Jackie Smith as Vice President of Marketing.

Prior to joining Pizza Factory, Smith spent more than 20 years in the restaurant industry, serving in various marketing roles for brands like McDonalds, TOGO’s, and Ike’s Love and Sandwiches where she focused on driving sales and transactions through the tech stack of Loyalty, Online Ordering, and the App experience. As a longtime fan of Pizza Factory, she aims to implement her data-driven skillset to help identify opportunities to market the brand to new audiences and expand its digital reach through streamlined processes. As the California native steps into her new role, she brings ambitious goals of helping to expand the brand’s customer base and optimize integrations with the point-of-sale and loyalty systems.

“The opportunity to work with the iconic Pizza Factory brand was one that I couldn’t pass up,” says Smith. “It is truly an incredible brand with amazing core values and an even better support team. I have always admired the ‘Be Awesome’ attitude that has remained synonymous with Pizza Factory throughout the years and I am eager to work with the team to amplify it through strategic tactics and consumer outreach.”

“We are proud to welcome Jackie to the Pizza Factory family. Her background within franchising and marketing makes her a valuable addition to our team,” saud MJ Riva, CEO of Pizza Factory. “With Jackie on board, Pizza Factory can further its efforts to meet the ever-evolving digital landscape. We look forward to leveraging her knowledge and experience to advance the growth of the brand.”

Featuring multiple fast-casual prototypes, Pizza Factory maintains its reputation for family-friendly dining and high-quality products. The brand specializes in its vast menu offerings, serving fresh, never frozen hand-tossed pizza, pasta, wings, sandwiches, salads, beer, wine and more. As Pizza Factory continues to develop into new markets, the brand is providing multi-unit operators flexible new-build or conversion options with delivery / curbside and traditional dine-in prototypes ranging from 1,000 – 4,000 sq. ft. The largest option typically features multiple dining sections, an arcade area for the kids, banquet rooms for parties and social gatherings and big-screen TVs throughout the restaurant.

With aggressive development efforts underway, Pizza Factory is actively growing and seeking multi-unit operators to develop nationwide.
