Pizza Hut Kicks Off Football Season with Big Dinner Box

    For the 2012 college and pro football seasons, Pizza Hut is rolling out its game day MVP: the Big Dinner Box, an epic-sized box filled with two medium rectangular one-topping pan pizzas, five breadsticks, and the choice of four Stuffed Pizza Rollers, one pan of Tuscani Pasta, or eight wings for only $19.99.

    Customers who order their Big Dinner Box online at also get a free 2-liter Pepsi.
    To help usher in the Big Dinner Box, Pizza Hut recruited another MVP in quarterback Aaron Rodgers. 
    "At Pizza Hut we believe that every experience deserves to be great," says Kurt Kane, chief marketing officer at Pizza Hut. "That is why we created the Big Dinner Box which helps turn watching a football game into a really delicious and memorable experience. There is no player out there who represents going for great better than Aaron Rodgers, so when we heard he was a fan of Pizza Hut, we just knew we had to partner up!"
    Rodgers, who says the Pizza Hut mushroom and pepperoni pizza is his favorite, will appear in a series of television spots that debut Sunday during the first full slate of pro football games. The ads will rotate and refresh throughout the season during prime football viewing.
    "Partnering with a great brand like Pizza Hut was one of the most fun experiences I've ever had on an ad shoot," says Rodgers. "I'm a big fan of the brand, and I know from experience how much better it is to watch football with a slice of Pizza Hut pizza in one hand."
    Rodgers knows the appeal of the Big Dinner Box, especially for game time.
    "If you're looking at this big pizza box, it has everything you want in it," added Rodgers. "There aren't many things better than pizza and sports on TV."
