Pizza Hut Offers Blake Shelton Experience for Father's Day

This Father’s Day, Pizza Hut is providing customers a chance to give their dads a VIP trip to Dallas filled with Blake Shelton concert exclusives and, of course, pizza. 

Through Father’s Day on June 15, fans can enter for a chance to win the Pizza Hut Father’s Day Experience by sharing photos, videos, or a message via Twitter or Instagram telling @PizzaHut why their dad should win this trip. Pizza Hut will choose a winner on Father’s Day and communicate with fans throughout the contest using the hashtag #PizzaHutFathersDay.

“Partnering with Blake Shelton to introduce our new line of BBQ pizzas has been nothing short of fantastic,” says Jared Drinkwater, senior director of marketing for Pizza Hut. “Our fans have loved it, and as a way to show our appreciation for their support, we are offering a chance for one of them to win this ultimate experience with Blake for their dad.”

The winner of the #PizzaHutFathersDay Experience will receive a trip to Texas for two on June 21, 2014, that includes a VIP tour of Pizza Hut headquarters in Plano, Texas; a private “build-your-own” pizza-making clinic inside the Pizza Hut innovation kitchen; tickets and meet-and-greet at the “Blake Shelton Ten Times Crazier” tour stop in Dallas; and free pizza for a year.

The deadline for submitting a chance to win is 2 p.m. ET on June 15. The winner will be announced on June 16.

This contest comes on the heels of the BBQ Pizza launch in May, of which Shelton played a key role in inspiring the new menu items from Pizza Hut.   

The three BBQ Pizza recipes from Pizza Hut feature a toasted Cheddar edge on the brand’s Hand-Tossed crust and are topped with a Honey BBQ sauce. The three recipes include: Blake’s Smokehouse BBQ, featuring hardwood smoked bacon, smoked ham flavored with a hint of sugar, and pork; Hawaiian BBQ, featuring smoked ham flavored with a hint of sugar, pieces of sweet pineapple, and green peppers; and Honey BBQ Chicken, which is topped with all-white meat chicken, hardwood smoked bacon, and sweet red onions.
