Kwok, who most recently served as regional director of development and franchising for Domino's Pizza in Ann Arbor, Michigan, will be responsible for managing a sector of Pizza Inn's international franchise development program and overseeing franchise sales growth in the Asian Pacific region.
"Mr. Kwok is a solid addition to the Pizza Inn team and a seasoned professional that we are eager to begin managing the Asian Pacific region," says Charlie Morrison, CEO of Pizza Inn, Inc. "He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in building franchise development programs and we are proud to have him on board." Kwok's executive experience spans more than two decades in developing restaurants in domestic and international settings. He has established himself as a leader in concept and franchise development, strategic planning and operations management, holding executive positions with such brand giants as Papa Murphy's International, Wendy's International, Hardee's Food Systems and Burger King Corporation, among others. During his professional tenure, Kwok has held various positions, from President of Operations and Managing Director, to Franchise Area Director and District Manager.
With over 18 years of international experience, Pizza Inn boasts 68 locations throughout nine countries with a strong presence in the Middle Eastern region. The two locations in China will soon be joined by locations in Oman and Bangladesh, increasing their presence even further. Kwok is the ideal candidate to continue to build upon the company's already impressive international resume.
"Pizza Inn's remarkable freshness, quality and value of their products set them apart from the competition," says Kwok. "I am honored to promote these factors and firmly believe the exceptional buffet prototype at Pizza Inn will be a successful operation to develop in the Asian Pacific territory. I am eager to begin promoting the brand and driving a new pizza industry sector forward."
