PizzaRev announced restaurant developers David Jones and Doug Tieber have committed to expanding the fast-casual pizza chain throughout the St. Louis and Austin markets.

Operating under the PizzaPeel franchise group, Jones and Tieber signed an agreement to open four PizzaRev restaurants in Austin and three additional in St. Louis, with rights to further develop both of the regions. They currently operate 17 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants with another under construction.

“We explored nearly every fast-casual pizza franchise opportunity, and PizzaRev was simply the most impressive,” Jones says. “Great food and service is always a must, but the company’s leadership and solid business model sold us.”

PizzaRev franchise locations are already under development in Salt Lake City; Minneapolis; Orange County, California; San Diego; Lincoln, Nebraska; Fargo, North Dakota; and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Meanwhile, the company plans to open at least 10 corporate stores in California to add to the eight PizzaRev restaurants currently operating in the greater Los Angeles region.

“David and Doug are high-caliber restaurant operators, and their investment in PizzaRev is a true testament to the bright future of our brand,” says Irv Zuckerman, co-CEO of PizzaRev. “We will continue to open a healthy blend of corporate and franchise locations because we are committed to rolling out only successfully tested programs to our franchise partners.”
