PizzaRev marked its entrance into South Dakota with a Pizzas for a Purpose fundraising event at 3901 W. 49th St. in Sioux Falls. Guests are invited to pay-what-they-want for a custom-built, personal-sized pizza with a suggested $8 contribution to benefit Children’s Miracle Network and Sanford Children’s Hospital.

PizzaRev-Sioux Falls is owned and operated by Todd Porter and Todd Schriever of Porter Apple, the group operates eight Applebee’s across South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska. Todd Porter also operates Carino’s and Chevys in Sioux Falls.

“Sioux Falls has embraced PizzaRev in a big way; we’ve already received rave review from our initial guests about our personalized process and our thin and crispy crust,” Porter says. “We’re looking forward to a successful grand opening to support the Children’s Miracle Network and Sanford Children’s Hospital and to help continue their mission of caring for children.”

PizzaRev features a distinctive craft-your-own-pizza assembly process and its Roman-style thin and crispy pizza that won a loyal following throughout Southern California. The fast-casual pizza concept is now expanding across the country by partnering with experienced, multiunit restaurant operators like Porter and Schriever. PizzaRev will open two additional franchise locations in the next two weeks in San Diego, California.
