PizzaRev entered Texas with a recent franchise opening in the Austin market. Restaurant developers David Jones and Doug Tieber opened the doors to PizzaRev in Round Rock last week, the first of four franchise locations planned for greater Austin.
Operating under the Pizzapeel LLC franchise group, Jones and Tieber also have the rights to develop St. Louis, Missouri. They currently operate 18 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants.
“We’ve already received a warm welcome from the Round Rock community and expect PizzaRev to flourish in the Austin market,” Jones says. “Guests love the opportunity to build their own pizza and have it ready in minutes – it’s truly a revolutionary business model.”
The distinctive pizza assembly process begins with a friendly greeting from a PizzaRev crafter who assists each guest in customizing their personal 11-inch pizza. Construction starts with the crust selection, either original or gluten free, each one pressed into a thin canvas from a homemade dough ball. Guests then choose from four signature sauces, including a marinara, a white alfredo, and a spicy-sweet barbecue. Finally, the pizza is completed with selections from an array of artisanal cheeses and 30-plus fresh ingredients ranging from traditional favorites like pepperoni and ground beef to premium selections including sweet fennel sausage, Kalamata olives, and basil and arugula. Each pizza, no matter how many ingredients are selected, costs $7.99.
