The team at Pizzeria Locale, including culinary director Jordan Wallace and brand manager Chris Donato, announce their collaboration with award-winning chef/owner Caroline Glover of the celebrated restaurant, Annette, for November’s Guest Chef Series benefitting Project Worthmore.

Glover and Wallace collaborated to create the Mushroom and Pancetta Pizza, which will feature Elevation Meats Pancetta, Oven-Roasted Mushrooms, Fontina, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, topped with Arugula + Garlic, and drizzled with Calabrian chile oil. One dollar from each $12 pizza sold will go toward Project Worthmore, an organization that responds to the needs of over 60,000 refugees that call Colorado home, as they navigate a new life.

Named a Food & Wine Best New Chef in 2019 and 2020 James Beard Foundation Award nominee for Best Chef: Mountain region, Caroline is chef/owner of Annette, the beloved restaurant in Aurora’s Stanley Marketplace.  Annette was named one of Bon Appetit’s “50 Best New Restaurants” in the country and it has earned a spot on 5280 Magazine’s “Top 25 Restaurants” list year after year.

Past Guest Chefs in Pizzeria Locale’s popular series include Jen Jasinski (Rioja, Ultreia); Josh Pollack of Bridge & Tunnel Restaurant Group (Rosenberg’s, Lou’s Italian Specialties); Dave Query of Big Red F Restaurant Group (Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar, Lola Coastal Mexican + others); Alex Seidel (Fruition, Chook) and more.  Since its inception, Pizzeria Locale’s Guest Chef Series has raised over $5,000 for various nonprofit organizations.

Available November 1-30 for pick up or delivery, this is the first time the Guest Chef pizza will be offered digitally through the new Pizzeria Locale App or www.pizzerialocale.com at any of the four locations, including the newest at 9th & Colorado.

“I am honored and excited to take part in Pizzeria Locale’s Guest Chef Series to raise money for Project Worthmore, a nonprofit that I dearly love and that we have supported since we started Annette,” says Glover. “I am also super psyched about this pizza—with cold weather upon us, this is what I want to eat right now!” says Glover.

“Although we always look forward to collaborating with Chef’s in the Denver community our current partnership feels even more meaningful given the impact of the current pandemic. We are proud to partner with such a talented member of the restaurant community, Chef Caroline, to raise awareness and funds for a meaningful organization in the Denver community with delicious pizza,” says Donato.
