PJ’s Coffee is expanding a true taste of New Orleans in the City of Katy with its second location in the area at 1185 Katy Fort Bend Road beginning Monday, May 6.
Right off I-10 and down the street from Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital, to celebrate with the community, PJ’s will offer guests a free beignet with the purchase of a coffee on the first day of the opening, as well as a “Buy One, Get One Half Off” hot or cold brew iced coffee the rest of the opening week from May 6 until May 12. During the second week of its opening, guests can enjoy 50% off beignets with the purchase of a coffee.
Additionally, PJ’s Coffee will host a celebratory Grand Opening ribbon-cutting event on June 2 at 11:30 a.m. with free hot or iced coffee from 11 a.m.–1 p.m., along with giveaways, branded swag items, and more.
“My husband, Andy Dermawan, and I couldn’t be more excited to be new business owners and share our love for PJ’s Coffee and New Orleans with more of the Katy community,” says co-owner and operator Ada Ong. “With the spirit of Southern hospitality, every sip of our carefully crafted coffee and every bite of our delicious pastries, we aim to transport you to the lively streets of the French Quarter. We look forward to creating memorable moments and fostering connections, one cup at a time.”
With a focus on providing a soulful coffee experience unique to its home city, PJ’s coffee quality remains the foundation of its roasting methods — done just blocks from the famous French Quarter in New Orleans.
Katy’s second PJ’s Coffee location will operate Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
PJ’s Coffee utilizes only the best quality arabica coffee beans, sourcing 14 origin coffees from around the world, including Sumatra, Ethiopia, Colombia and Papua New Guinea. Chief Roastmaster Felton Jones, who has over 20 years of experience with the company, has dedicated his career to helping the brand achieve its promise to provide authentic New Orleans flavors across all locations. The coffeehouse was acquired by Ballard Brands in 2008, which is spearheaded by brothers Paul, Scott and Steve Ballard.
