McDonald’s and its independent franchisees in Florida are hosting a statewide Hiring Day on September 26 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. at local McDonald’s restaurants. On this day, job seekers can submit applications and possibly interview for available positions in more than 865 restaurants from crew members to managers. An estimated 3,000 employees are expected to be hired as a result of the Hiring Day event.

McDonald’s and its independent franchisees offer competitive benefits for employees, including flexible schedules, an employee discount, advancement opportunities and education assistance through Archways to Opportunity giving restaurant employees an opportunity to earn a high school diploma, receive upfront tuition assistance for college courses, access to academic advising courses and learn English as a second language. McDonald’s recently announced that it is allocating $150 million over five years to its global Archways to Opportunity education program.
