Pokeatery, the popular Bay Area fast casual poké restaurant, announced the greatest addition to a menu since sliced bread: sliced bread. Toast to be exact. Pokeatery’s new Pokecado toast merges the popular and trendy favorite of avocado toast with the unique raw fish flavors of Hawaii.
Locally sourced, Artisan whole-wheat rye sourdough, with sesame toast creates the base of this innovative new item which is then customized by adding a spread (sesame miso, spicy mustard or wasabi aioli), avocado, seasoning, baby arugula, mix-ins, poke, and toppings. Pokecado Toast was designed to be customizable for each individual customer to guarantee they get the flavors they love. Delicious, nutritious, and always made to order, pokecado toast is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Husband and wife team, Derek and Joann Chung, opened Pokeatery after managing family owned sushi restaurants for over 20 years. “We’re excited to show our creative and innovative side with the introduction to Pokecado Toast,” says Joann. “We had so much fun creating it and believe our customers will really love it. We hope everyone comes in to try it.”
The Pokecado Toast officially launched at Pokeatery on March 26 and is now available at both locations.
