Houston, Texas–area Pollo Campero restaurants invite customers to take their taste buds on a trip through the exciting tastes and flavors of Latin America with the introduction of bigger, bolder menu items.

Famous worldwide for authentic Latin fried and grilled chicken, Pollo Campero now offers restaurant guests more choices, more Latin ingredients, and more signature flavors to its menu, from satisfying tacos and handmade empanadas to new Latin Mixes that will satisfy each guest’s taste for a Latin food adventure.

From Guatemala to Argentina, guests can begin their food travels with a wide selection of seven different tacos, more flavors of empanadas, and new Latin Mix Duos and Latin Mix Trios. The Latin Mixes allow guests to choose any two or three items from the menu, along with a side dish, starting at $6.99 for the Latin Mix Duo and $8.99 for the Latin Mix Trio.

“These new menu items make the Pollo Campero experience even richer. Everything is bigger and bolder—color, aroma, texture, and taste. From our Chicken Molcajete taco to our heart-healthy Peruvian Quinoa salad, these are authentic Latin American flavors that aren’t like anything else on the market,” says Lisken Kastalanych, Pollo Campero’s vice president of marketing. “With our bolder, bigger menu, guests can discover the fresh ingredients and traditional flavors found all across Latin America.”

Other new items include the Argentinean Steak taco made with 100 percent tender Angus beef topped with a zesty chimichurri sauce, pico de gallo, and queso fresco, as well as the Spicy Chicken empanada bursting with Peruvian style chicken, green tomatillo salsa, pepper jack cheese, and fresh cilantro.

“We listened closely to the initial feedback from our Houston customers, and we developed these new menu items just for them,” Kastalanych says. “Our signature grilled and fried chicken, crispy yuca fries, and sweet plantains are as good as ever and always available, but we’re also excited to provide more choices than ever before to our restaurant guests.”
