According to Pollo Tropical, enjoying a Create Your Own Tropichop requires only four steps of fun!
First, guests decide whether they want grilled chicken, slow roasted pork, or a vegetarian build. Then they order their ‘base’, choosing either the ever-popular yellow rice with vegetables, white rice, the all-new brown rice, romaine lettuce, or a combination of lettuce and rice.
Then guests order as many toppings as they like. Their choices include made-from-scratch beans, chopped fresh tomatoes, kernel corn, sautéed onions, or “sofrito” – a blend of sautéed peppers and onions. Lastly, they pile on their choice of salsas or sauces from the Pollo Tropical recently expanded fresh salsa bar.
“Pollo Tropical fans love our Mojo Roast Pork,” says Kim Miller, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Pollo Tropical.
“They are going to love it even more as a Create Your Own Tropichop, with all of the many, great ingredient options customers can choose from!”
If you’re watching your waist, there are many Create Your Own Pork Tropichop combinations to choose from. For example, the small Create Your Own Tropichop with Roast Pork, half yellow rice / half lettuce and diced tomatoes is only 335 calories.
A larger portion for a bigger appetite is the full sized, 16-ounce Create Your Own Pork Tropichop. The Roast Pork portion of the larger Tropichop is still only 250 calories!
